Vegas, Vegas, Vegas, Vegas

Well we subleased our apartment, and had to be out by July 15. We had a little over a week before we had to be in San Jose for Adam's internship so we headed down to Vegas to stay with the fam. It was such a fun and relaxing week. We ate at the delicious Raising Cane's (multiple times). We went and saw the new X-Men with the brothers, which was very good. Saturday our best friends The Drowns came into town. (They were having their family vacation down in Vegas). So they came and stayed with us at my parents Saturday night. We played lots and lots of Halo, and hit up the local Sev. (it's a little different when you actually have to drive to the nearest 7-11, unlike where we live in Provo, and it's a 3 minute walk) It was just like old times when Casey was living with us. So Sunday morning they left to go check in at their hotel, and we went to church and enjoyed the day with my dad for Father's Day. That night we went to The Lion King at Mandalay Bay with Clay and Brittany. It was absolutely amazing.

While we were at Lion King, my brother's Casey and Chris watched Maeli. They took her down to the Midway Games in Circus Circus and won her lots of stuffed animals, including a monkey with a banana that was probably 3x her size.

Monday we went back to the strip to hang out with the Drown's some more. We went to Circus Circus and watched some of the Circus acts, and played some Midway games. Then we headed to Caesar's Palace to walk around the Forum Shops, and went to the Bellagio to watch the fountains. It had been a while since I have been on the strip, almost 3 years. The last time I was there Adam and I were on our first date, and had our first kiss in front of the Bellagio Fountain Show, so it was definitely nice to reminisce.
