Valentine's Day

The day of love. It was a good one this year. We didn't do anything too fancy, but we enjoyed it. Monday February 13, I decided I wanted to make a nice pre-valentines day dinner. I bought some pre-made lobster raviolis from Costco. Then I made a homemade alfredo sauce, and we ate it all with artichoke dip bread. It was delicious. The raviolis were not my favorite. I prefer the chicken and mozzarella ones from Costco. Then for dessert I made warm melting chocolate cake. This is the signature dessert that is served on Carnival Cruises, and the recipe I had tasted just like the real one.

For Valentine's Day I got Adam a KC Chiefs shirt and some drinking glasses that are shaped like coke cans. I also made him this super snazzy card that I saw on pinterest.

Adam got me a set of tripods and mono-pod for my camera, which I have really been wanting. He also got me some beautiful flowers.

We celebrated the day by going to this delicious chinese restaurant by our apartment called Wild Ginger, and finished the night with a redbox, One Day. It was weird. I don't recommend it. But we had fun spending time together, which I believe is the whole reason for the holiday.
