Weekend #6

This was my last weekend in San Jose! My family well some of them (Mom, Brandon, Casey, and Nathan, our cousin Isaac, and Casey's best friend Jarin) came up on Wednesday and stayed til Sunday. Wednesday we drove around San Jose and showed them the sights around town. Thursday we went up to San Francisco. Adam had to work, so I took my family on the tour.

After this we drove back to San Jose, stopped by Google so someone could get in the car with Adam so he could drive back in the car pool lane. Got some dinner and called it a night.

Friday we went to the BEACH!! It was so much fun. We all got boogie boards, and had a blast playing in the water. It was a bit chilly since the sun decided to hide behind the clouds all day. But lots of fun nonetheless. I took TONS of pictures while at the beach, but I will just put my favorites.

Saturday we were going to go to the beach, but we were pretty tired from the day before, and everyone besides myself got horribly sunburned. So instead we went to the Intel Museum. Adam was finally off work so he was able to join us.

After the Intel musuem, we didn't know what else to do so we ended up going back to the beach. It was a lot more crowded since it was a Saturday. But there was a little more sunshine then there was the day before. We went boogie boarding again. When we were getting ready to go, I went back in the ocean to try and get some of the sand out of my swim suit. Well I got it as clean as I thought was possible and I started walking back to the shore, and I get hit by a massive wave. It took me down, and took my sunglasses. I got back up trying to get the salt and sand out of my mouth and eyes, and I get hit again. Once again I tumbled through some waves, and I get back up and am completely covered in salt and sand again. I walk back out to the deeper part to try and clean up a bit, and then I start walking back and get hit again. It was probably the most embarrassing, and awful experience of my life. I thought I was going to die. I got back up and just headed back to the shore. Adam grabbed me some towels and I just laid there for a while til I felt ok again. Definitely not something I want to do again.

Sunday morning we left for Vegas. I went back with my family since Adam was going to be in Florida for training for a week, and I didn't want to stay there by myself. We stopped and got some delicious produce from a fruit stand, then started the 8 hour drive back. It was pretty uneventful. We watched a lot of movies/tv shows, and we finally arrived back in Vegas.
