What a totally FUN, CRAZY, EXCITING month!

July was just one of those months that we will remember for a long long time. It really started on July 7, when we packed our suitcases with 2 weeks of clothing and headed off on our family vacation. We drove the 5 hours to Vegas, and stayed the night at my parents' house. Then on the 8th we took another 6 hour drive to Phoenix, Arizona. Phoenix was hot, really hot, but we still had a lot of fun. Adam's grandparents have a pool so that is where we spent a majority of the evenings, it was way too hot during the day to go swim. We were in Arizona for about 4 days, waiting for the rest of the LEMON family to arrive. Monday morning (July 12) we headed for none other than the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH- Disneyland!!! We arrived in Anaheim earlier than the rest of the family so Adam and I decided to go walk around Downtown Disney, which neither of us had ever been down there before.
There was an awesome Lego store!

And of course the Disney store!!

After everyone else arrived at the motel we headed down to The Grove (a mall in L.A.) It was a pretty cool place. We walked around and looked in some stores. There just so happened to be a Cheesecake Factory there so that is where we dined for dinner that night, all I can say is DELICIOUS!!

Tuesday was day 1 at Disneyland...
First off it was PACKED!! We happened to choose to go the week of the MLB All Stars game. So on Tuesday they were having a big parade at Disneyland to start off the event. Luckily everyone was watching the parade so we didn't have to wait too long in line for rides.
Here are some pictures of the rides we did the first day!!

We called it a day around 6 cause we were exhausted. Who knew Disneyland could tire you out so much. But we figured we would head back to the motel and rest up for day 2.

Wednesday Day 2 at Disneyland...
We started off Wednesday morning at Disneyland. Adam and I went off on our own so we could do some shopping and rides together. We got some sweet matching shirts, a 2010 magnet, and some stuff to bring home to my family. We were able to hit up most of the rides in Adventureland (tarzan's treehouse, pirates of the carribean, indiana jones)and some in Fantasy Land (the castle, alice in wonderland, teacups)

We headed to the entrance to wait for the rest of the family for a family picture. They turned out pretty good I must say.

After the family picture we headed over to California Adventure!! I didn't get too many pictures while we were over there on Day 2 but I got more on Day 3.

And here are the classic pictures by your letter!!

So after some fun in California Adventure we headed back to the motel around 5ish to grab some dinner, which was some delicious Indian food. After eating we went back to the park to watch the fireworks at Disneyland and then we went over to California Adventure for our first viewing of World of Color.

World of Color is AMAZING!! Probably one of the coolest things I have ever seen in my life. That show was a perfect ending to another perfect day.

Day 3 at Disneyland...
We spent most of Day 3 at California Adventure. While Adam's dad was waiting in line to get our World of Color Fast passes we set off to get on the rides. We were able to get on about 5 rides within 45 minutes. It was awesome. Everybody was waiting to get their fast passes for World of Color so we took advantage of it.
We decided to go back to the motel during lunch time so we could stay out of the heat. We headed back when it wasn't so hot outside and did some rides at Disneyland. This is where we did our longest wait. 75 minutes for splash mountain. It was crazy long but it's not so bad when you have family there to talk with. Adam and I left the others and headed over to California Adventure so we could get good seats for World of Color. And we did!! We were right in the front and on the rail. We saved seats for the rest of the family and by 9:00 we were super excited to see the show again. I had put all of my pictures on Adam's computer during lunch so I would have enough space on the memory card to record it. Sadly I only got 18 out of the 25 minutes. I will upload it as soon as I can get it off of Adam's computer, so you all can experience the wonders of Disney.

The next day we packed up, checked out, and headed out on the open road.
To be continued...
