I am the Big 22. haha. I turned 22 on the 22 of August. I called it my special birthday since this will only happen once in my lifetime. It was a day of awesomeness. Too bad no pictures were taken to document this amazing event.
We did mos of our celebrating on the 21st since the 22nd was on a Sunday. I got work off and we enjoyed a day of sleeping in and relaxation. We went to Tucanos for my birthday dinner with my brother Casey and my cousin Jorden. After we got back we went to a ward activity at the Veterans Memorial Pool where we swam and had a good time with our friends. I got to open my gifts from Adam which included two cds (Arcade Fire- Suburbs, and Vampire Weekend- Contra) both are AMAZING!! and Adam got me a fresh water pearl necklace. So beautiful. He was also going to take me shopping but we waited til Vegas so I could go to my favorite store H&M. Sunday (my actual day of birth) we had my Aunt Wendy and Uncle Ronald and two of their kids Jorden and Aubrey over for some cake and ice cream. It was a great day except I woke up that morning super sick with a horrible cold.
The week after my birthday was horrible!! I was so sick and of course I still had to work, so I went in everyday sneezing and coughing, and hoping people didn't mind that I still cut their hair. haha. Luckily this past Thursday we left for Vegas!! to celebrate my birthday with mine and Adam's family who were also in Vegas this weekend. My parents got me Harry Potter legos for the Wii which is so much fun. Then we went out to dinner at a seafood buffet at the Gold Coast. I love crab!! Saturday we went shopping at H&M and then met up with Adam's family for dinner at Claim Jumper. We celebrated mine and Adam's birthday since his is less than a month away, and we won't be seeing his family til Thanksgiving. We both got $25 dollar gift cards to F.Y.E and I got some money to do a little more shopping. haha Sunday we went to church, ate a delicious dinner and said our goodbyes as we headed back up to Provo to start another school year.
Enjoy the new school year!
