Weekend #1

The first weekend we were here we decided to check out San Jose. As this is the tech capitol of the world, we decided we must go to the tech museum. It was super cool. A lot of hands on workshops that kind of taught you about everything techy. It was probably a lot cooler for Adam then for me, but it was fun nonetheless. Inside the museum they have an IMAX Dome. Which was pretty dang awesome. We watched Born to be Wild, and it was an experience unlike any other.









After the tech museum we went to this rose garden. I thought it would be a lot prettier but some of the roses were dead. Apparently the time to come see it is in April-May cause that is when they are in full bloom.





Then we mostly just drove around and tried to get familiar with the city. It really is a pretty place with lots to see and do. We are so happy to be here for the summer.

On Saturday we went down to Santa Cruz. It was a beautiful day filled with lots of sunshine. We played on the beach, walked around the boardwalk, and ate some dinner on the pier.
