And so it begins...

Well I have a whole semester to catch up on, because I am a major slacker and haven't blogged since Christmas. Luckily I take pictures so I can remember all the things that we have done since then.

January-
We went to the Sundance Film Festival. We went with some of Adam's friends from school. Both of us had never been before so it was pretty fun. We saw some shorts that were really really weird. I mostly went in the hope of seeing some famous people, but unfortunately we went on the night that the awards ceremony was going on so they were all probably there, cause we didn't see anyone. It was a little sad, but oh well. Here are some pics

February-
We had Valentine's Day. We didn't do anything too special, just went out to dinner at our favorite restaurant Magleby's. I got Adam the first four seasons of Boy Meets World, and he got me a carrying case for my camera. We also went to the aquarium on President's Day. It was really fun seeing all the cool sea life, but the best part was definitely the penguins.

These are the flowers Adam got me for Valentine's Day

March-
Back in December, before Christmas break, Adam and I decided we were going to get serious about working out. We had both gained some weight since we had gotten married (not a ton, but enough to make us feel uncomfortable) so we started running. We went to the indoor track up at BYU every evening and ran. I did really good about it all the way up to the 2nd week of January, then I hurt my knee at one of our intramural soccer games, and it hurt to run so I stopped. I lost about 7 pounds though so I felt really good about it. Adam kept it up. He ran everyday and started timing himself and just got faster and faster. So in March he decided he wanted to run a 10 K. They had the Rex Lee Run here in Provo and he signed up. I got to go watch him before he took off and snapped a couple pics.

He has lost between 15 and 20 pounds, he keeps going up and down between the two amounts. But I am so proud of him, and he is still doing great at running, and staying healthy, while I lie around on the couch. haha. Oh well someday I will have some motivation to exercise, but our intramural soccer team is enough for me right now.
At the end of March we went to my friend Dia's wedding. She and I have been friends since 4th grade. So I was super excited to be there to watch her get sealed to Sam for time and all eternity. They got married in the Las Vegas Temple so we headed down and made a weekend getaway out of it. We headed to Vegas Friday morning and hung out with my fam for the day. Saturday we went to the sealing, luncheon, and then reception. Dia was absolutely beautiful.

April-
The beginning of April was General Conference. I had to work on Saturday so Adam and Casey came to the barbershop and watched it with me, my co-worker and her husband. It was awesome, we got payed to sit around and watch general conference. And it being Utah and all we probably did like 9 haircuts the whole day cause everyone was at home watching conference. The next day Sunday it snowed like crazy. So inbetween Sunday sessions we went up to the park that is like 4 blocks north of us and played in the snow. It was the perfect snow for building snowmans and having snow ball fights.

Easter weekend we went up to West Jordan to be with Adam's family. We invited our good friends the Drowns to come with us. We had an Easter egg hung, played around outside, and ate a delicious dinner. It was so good to see Adam's family again (we hadn't seen them since Christmas break so it had been a while)

April 25 was Adam and I's 2 year anniversary!! Woohoo! We went out to a nice dinner and came home and watched a movie. It was quite the night. haha. We celebrated the next week in Florida so we didn't do anything to fancy the actual day of our anniversary.
School also ended at the end of April which is some super exciting news. Adam finished up his first year in his Masters Program. That means we only have one more year left and he will be graduating. It is so weird to think about not being in school all the time. We will have a real job, living grown up lives. I will be a little sad to leave this stage of life. I know I definitely won't miss the late nights when Adam has homework or studying to do. So that has been our lives these past few months. Hopefully I will be better about blogging so I don't have to play four months of catch up every time.

ps our Florida trip will be posted soon so stay tuned.
